We had great news this week as Lisa passed her Canine Nutrition and Health Diploma with merit. Lisa is now fully qualified to advise you on your dogs diet and will be adding to the range very soon - there's a herbal range for motion sickness and anxiety on the horizon so watch this space!

Training your dog doesn’t just happen in the formal ‘dog training classroom’ our dogs are willing to learn all the time. Finding something that really motivates your dog will help enormously. Often dogs are REALLY motivated by food but some are not so we have to find something else that motivates them such as a toy or a special type of praise.

Depending on who you speak to, expert opinions differ greatly as to what makes up a good diet for your dog. At one time all in one dried dog foods were on trend however, more recently, there has been a move towards a more ‘natural’ feeding approach of high meat content no cereal diets.

A great day was had by all and we raised well over £100 for Kempsey Colts. Thank you to every one who came and my great staff who worked tirelessly on a very hot day

Don’t forget the big show at Teal Turf  (WR5 3PB) in Kempsey! Fun dog show, Have a go agility and fun penalty shoot out for dogs In association with the Kempsey Colts and all proceeds are going to them.

We will also be trying to encourage young people and children to approach dogs correctly and help them to know what to do if they meet a dog they are not sure about. Show class entires £1. For more information contact Lisa.

Dog agility classes have restarted here at Hillview, Kempsey Worcester. Next Saturday is the beginners class 1-2pm and then the intermediate class between 2.15-3.15pm. The following week is the Advanced classes at 1pm, 2.15pm and 3.30pm. On the 13th April the evening classes resume 7-8pm, which are mixed ability classes.
Flyball will be back on the following Thursday the 20th April 7.15-8.15 and will run throughout the summer. All of these classes are fortnightly and pay as you go.
